Before you buy
Will it run on my distro?
Showout ships as a Linux x86_64 AppImage and needs a Vulkan-capable GPU. The download page lists tested systems and limits.
What should my clips be encoded as?
Use HAP or short-GOP H.264 / H.265 for show content. Long-GOP files can make seeking less responsive.
How do I receive my license?
Polar, our payment provider, emails you a link to its customer portal, which shows your license key. Sign in there with your purchase email to see it again.
Do I pay again when 2.0 ships?
No. This license includes full output on every major version.
Is there a Mac or Windows version?
Not yet. The first paid release targets Linux x86_64 only.
Can I use it at paid gigs?
Yes. The license covers commercial use.
